We all lost a wonderfully talented person yesterday, English born Marian McPartland, jazz pianist died on 20 August 2013 at age 95. You many have heard her soothing voice and piano music on National Public Radio's Piano Jazz, She was the host of that show from 1978 until she stepped down in 2011.
