Details: Like the Indian movies they are based on, Bollywood dancing is high energy with colorful costumes and exhilarating music. The dances are a fusion of traditional and classical Indian dances with the influence of some jazz, hip-hop and modern dance. Anushree Shah has been dancing since she was a child in India, and brings her students to the Central Library to present a dazzling performance. Enjoy a great show, and learn about Indian culture as well. This program is part of the "Everybody Dance Now!" series of programs at the Central Library featuring organizations in the Rochester area that promote the joy of dance.
